I lost everything and am homeless, my child died because the fire consumed the entire house and there was nothing fire force could do, or I helplessly watched as my house burned down because the fire force unable to assist.

Eastina Marian Boimadi Taylor is a journalist working for BBC Media Action in Sierra Leone as a producer. She also heads a youth based organization called Shaping Young Minds Initiative where they hone the real potential of young individuals through Leadership Mentoring, trainings and volunteerism activities. Her Motivation to fulfill this project is her passion to see well trained firefighters in Sierra Leone who will have the most important skills to save lives and property.
Jason Moore currently serves as the Fire Chief for the City of Bloomington Fire Department. Beginning his career in the United States Air Force in 2000, Chief Moore has a passion for developing leaders. In addition to his work within the fire service, he also serves as a principal consultant and Chief Operations Officer of Jaxson Mattison, an international emergency management consulting firm. His motivation to fulfill this project comes from his commitment to helping those in need. He hopes that passing on the training and education he has been fortunate enough to receive to the Sierra Leone fire force will help them be better prepared to help themselves and save lives.
Max Litwin has a passion for helping those in need. After a medical mission to the Dominican Republic, his career path gravitated towards the emergency services. In 2017 he was promoted to Captain at the Bloomington Fire Department where he routinely helps develop new firefighters. His motivation in this project is driven by his desire to help those less fortunate, in circumstances that lack opportunities, and in need of assistance. After hearing about the dire issues faced by the Sierra Leone fire force, he knew this was a unique opportunity to combine his passion and career training to make a real impact in a community.
